Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a technique in Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) that uses small needles that painlessly help your body find balance.

According to TCM, the body regulates itself via a system of meridians (energy pathways) that constantly communicate with each other. So when we are stressed, injured, or have some sort of illness, the meridians need help finding balance. Acupuncture enables the meridians to easily communicate with each other, thus easing tension out of your tissues and allowing your body work more harmoniously.

Your session will begin with a thorough intake to figure out what is going on in your mind, body and soul. TCM takes into account not only your symptoms, but the root of the issue. This can include emotions, diet, habits, and physical problems.

During the acupuncture session, needles will be painlessly inserted into certain points on your body. Each session will be customised to fit your needs. This can include different styles of acupuncture and different types of acupuncture needles. Other TCM techniques that may be incorporated into a session include cupping, moxibustion, gua sha, and dietary advice.

During a session you will feel relaxed and often sense energy circulating, and experience a sense of lightness following.

Acupuncture is effective in treating a variety of non-emergency medical conditions. Issues it can help with include insomnia, stress, digestive issues, fertility challenges, sports injuries and migraines.

Facial Rejuvenation

Your face is what you present to the world. This treatment includes the standard acupuncture treatment and also contours and sculpts your face, addressing common issues such as fine lines and wrinkles, dark circles, and dullness and discoloration.

The session starts by looking at your skin and determining what you’d like to improve. Needles will be placed on your body while a customised sheet mask infused with chinese herbs prepares your skin for facial acupuncture, gua sha, facial cupping, and jade rollers.

The acupuncture needles are used to balance your meridians, help relax muscles via muscle motor points, and to increase circulation.

Gua sha is a technique that reduces puffiness, helps diminish wrinkles, increases circulation and helps lift the tissue in your face. Stone tools are used to sculpt your skin, fascia, muscles, and lymphatic system in order to untangle and iron out the fascia that is bound with tension and traps accumulated wastes from stressors of daily life.

Facial cupping is a negative pressure that lightly stimulates your lymphatic system and helps drain out any tension and puffiness.

Jade rollers close the treatment by rolling the tissue upwards and cooling your skin in order to give it that glassy texture. Jade is considered the ultimate beauty gemstone in Chinese culture.

Duration: 1 hour
Cost: 100€

Deluxe Facial Rejuvenation

Referred to by clients as “the Botox alternative”, this treatment builds upon the Facial Rejuvenation, adding another 30 minutes dedicated to sculpting the neck, chest and shoulders, and releasing further tension and fatigue from your face.

Heated crystals are used to create movement through the muscles and connective tissue, while extensive gua sha work is done on the neck and shoulders, releasing stress and tension held here and stimulating the lymphatic system to de-puff these areas and help the body rid itself of debris.

You will see an immediate difference following the treatment, as increased circulation and connective tissue stimulation delivers nourishment and oxygenation to your face, rejuvenating the tissue and providing a radiant glow.

A series of sessions will reveal greater results, it being an accumulative process with the body learning to relax more with each treatment, as it releases deep-rooted stress, digestive and hormonal issues which are reflected in the face.

The crystals and gua sha tools used will be tailored to your individual needs.

Duration: 90 minutes
Cost: 140€

Sculptural Transformation

An advanced inner and outer treatment for transformation that is both seen and felt. IntraOral (buccal) massage is employed in conjunction with Yakov Gershkovich’s Sculptural Facial Lifting method to softly reshape your face.

This sculptural massage deeply stimulates collagen production and elastin, helping circulate blood, lymph and energy through the connective tissue, muscles and bones. It reduces swelling, improves the texture of your skin, and results in greater definition and the best possible posture for your face.

The treatment includes all elements of the Deluxe Facial Rejuvenation and works on several levels of energy, utilising acupuncture, Yang massage, Yin massage and crystals to release both emotional and physical tension.

The Yang component is the sculptural massage, a powerful technique that moves blood, activates movement in the muscles and releases any rigidity. Gua sha massage, being Yin, is the perfect compliment, taking all the energy that has been released through the active Yang movements and gently helping the lymphatic system process the cellular debris. You’ll leave feeling - and looking - utterly renewed.

Duration: 1 hour 45 minutes

Add on: LED Radiance

It was NASA that discovered the power of LEDs, first from the light’s capacity to grow plants in space, and then from their ability to help astronauts heal while in zero gravity. Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) are now widely used in medical communities to accelerate wound healing, and have recently been recognised for their cosmetic benefits.

This treatment utilises LED therapy for 30 minutes during the rest period of the acupuncture, allowing the light to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin for plumper, firmer, brighter skin, while the needles work their magic on your muscles and meridians.

Our Celluma Pro device (FDA-cleared and recognised as one of the best in the industry) employs blue, red and near-infrared light to kill acne-causing bacteria, improve circulation, quicken tissue repair and decrease inflammation.
